Annual Events

The Cortez Cultural Center hosts or organizes many annual events in the Cortez area.  We have two Arts & Crafts Fairs each year that attract many visiting and local shoppers.  We organize the annual Ute Mountain-Mesa Verde Birding Festival each Spring.  Many bird watchers come to this event from all over the country.  Spring is also when the annual Pueblo-to-Pueblo Run is held.

In addition to these large community events, we also have a number of smaller events throughout the year.  Two such examples are the Sweetheart Ball & Art Auction that is held each year around Valentine's Day and the annual Pumpkin Festival that occurs in late October.  There are other events, too.  Please be sure to check back to these pages from time to time to see what events are coming up.  Or, to receive our monthly calendar in the mail, simply become a member!
