Dawg Days Chili Cook-off

Rules:
Entries are accepted from Teams, Individuals or Professionals. Categories include chili con carne, green chili (no beans in the green chili for judging) or salsa.
All food must be prepared on site (exception: beans can be canned or prepared ahead of time).
Each entrant must make 2 gallons of chili or salsa for judging and tasting. The public will be charged $1 per tasting cup or 6 for $5 or 12 for $10. You can sell chili if you wish, but you must have adequate chili for tasting from noon to 3:00pm.
To enter Showmanship, decorate your booth and dress anyway you choose as long as it is appropriate for families: costumes, themes etc. Wild is good!
Set up: You may set up and start cooking as early as 9:00am.
Judging will begin at 12:00 for salsa, 12:15 for green chili and 12:30 for chili con carne. People's Choice at 2:45 (you will be allowed to sell your chili until 3:00pm).
Awards will be given at 3:00pm.
Entries needed by August 18th by 5:00pm.
The Cultural Center will serve beer, water, milk and soda and provide the entertainment with music and some kids games.
